These impressive pots are made for bonsai tree planting and designed to be elegant but discreet so as not to detract from the bonsai contained within them. They are ideal for contained alpine and cottage gardens, and for use as ponds, (we can seal them free of charge for use as a pond). They are made in a small craft village outside of Hanoi and grace the public spaces and temples of the Vietnamese capital. Ho Chi Minh’s memorial park has broad avenues lined with these pots painted in regal maroons and emerald. They are constructed of reconstituted stone reinforced with a steel sub-frame and are totally frost proof.
