With over half a century of dedication to the art of metalwork, Ainsley and his father have amassed an extensive collection (currently 24) of original 19th-century patterns, offering faithful reproductions of Victorian balusters cast in durable aluminium.

Ainsley is also able to replicate existing balusters, even if they are damaged to create precise copies from the original and then reproduce in quantities. Perfect if you have an on-going renovation project.

Each baluster can be tailored to suit any staircase or rail, adjusted in length and angle to meet specific architectural needs. Unless otherwise requested, all items are supplied in bare metal, though a fine powder-coated finish is available upon request. Every piece is shaped, forged, and finished by hand, crafted with the same dedication that also produces a remarkable selection of historic reproduction garden furniture.

Pricing & Enquiries:

• Bare metal balusters: Priced between £40 and £70 plus VAT and delivery.
• Reproductions from an existing baluster: The first piece typically ranges from £80 - £120 plus VAT, with additional copies at approximately £50 plus VAT.
• Final pricing is dependent upon the complexity of the work and does not include delivery charges.

There are no minimum or maximum orders. 

For those requiring a complete service, installation may also be arranged. Skilled craftsmen are available to fit the balusters with the same precision and care with which they are made, ensuring a perfect integration into any setting. Whether restoring a period property or adding a touch of history to a new design, expert installation guarantees a flawless result.
