These extraordinarily beautiful glazed pots are produced in an ancient pottery forming part of a Buddhist temple complex in the heart of the jungle between Rangoon and Mandalay in old Burma (now Myanmar): old men work on designs for pots whilst younger men hand throw all the pots and local women dress them. Their work is of the highest quality and carries on a long tradition of pottery making in the area.
